Codebase sessions

Codebase sessions are Alloy cloud-agent sessions that start from a connected GitHub repository and turn a product idea into a reviewable pull request.

Start sessions from your codebase.

Until now, every Alloy session began with a page capture. That's a great way to prototype on top of what your product already looks like, but it stops short of the code itself. With codebase sessions, you can now start from your repo and take an idea all the way to a pull request your team can review.

Connect GitHub to get started. Link your repository and Alloy works directly with your codebase. No setup beyond the connection.

All the benefits of the Alloy platform. Share a link for feedback, collaborate with your team, and iterate in the same environment you already use for prototypes.

From idea to pull request. When you're ready, open a pull request straight from your session so your team can review the change in GitHub.

Codebase sessions are available today in early access. Connect GitHub from the settings page to get started, or learn more about cloud agents.

Frequently asked questions

Connect the source repository, give the agent the product context and requested change, then review the resulting code before opening a pull request. Alloy codebase sessions combine the repository with prototype, discussion, and review context so the path from idea to implementation stays connected.

A cloud coding agent works in an isolated environment to inspect a codebase, make changes, and prepare them for review. Alloy adds product-team collaboration around that agent, including comments, sharing, permissions, and a session that can begin directly from GitHub.

Yes, connecting the repository gives a cloud agent the source context required to implement a product change. In Alloy, connect GitHub, choose the codebase as the session source, and take the resulting work through to a reviewable pull request.
